It was a terrible thing to witness, but what really made the experience bad was the manager’s response. This was only the second ride he went on and we decided to leave - feeling it wasn’t very safe. When I got to my kid I found the thin lap belt was not on. The attendant didn’t immediately notice and all the parents standing around screamed for the ride to stop. His head was inches from the platform as it spun. My son was pushed over the edge as he looked over and was hanging from the ride as it went around. The second ride he went on was a white capsule that spins and pushes the rider to the side of the car. We then went to ride the rides and our day turned into a nightmare. We visited the park for the dinosaur portion, which we enjoyed. Highly recommend for families with young kids! Overall was a great day - my kids had so many smiles and fun. Just be aware if your kiddo is scared by this kind of thing!ĥ) this is not a Six flags sort of place - had a “county fair” vibe with several small rides that go in circles We ended up walking most of the loop and not pushing any buttons, which was good because there was no one else in the park. Some dinosaurs won’t move if unless you press a button. This terrified my 4 year old as she was surprised. we arrived at 12:30 and stayed until the park closed at 5! On our way out a nice lady who worked there gave my kiddos a free cotton candy which I thought was sweet of her.įew essential things to note for other newbies:ġ) this place is for the younger crowd - there are maybe 4 or 5 rides that adults can rideĢ) lots of shade as it’s under the trees, and also half the rides have a “roof” of some sort over itģ) as of June 27th the rollercoaster is not assembledĤ) the dinosaurs in the dino section move and make noises. My kids rode each ride 2-3 times and there was no real wait! The only wait was because sometimes one ride operator was managing two rides. The staff that operated the rides were good (patient, wiped down the rainy wet seats with sponges, some made sure to check that my kids were buckled in) and had a positive attitude despite the crappy weather. We went on a Tuesday and had light rain for half the time… so it was pretty empty and we felt as if we had the whole park (Dino + Magic Forest) to ourselves! I took my two and 4 year old and they had a blast and I also went on a few rides (with them and myself) and had fun. I didn’t know what to expect before going (i looked online and there was no park map - wish they had one online) and was worried about lines and what would happen if it rained.
